edit: My shoulders are now killing me, but I got the timeline half up to date and I actually updated the character directory myself for the first time in forever.
I am feeling very productive, as I have been remarkably on top of my tags this week. ... not so much my starters, I owe Rae one, Nikki&Kati one, Kati one, Hezy two, Zo one and possibly Julie one.
It's on my list. It'll get done. (It feels remarkably good to say that, considering how often I make lists and don't bother checking off everything.)
Next thing to tackle: MH plotting. And Super Secret Things. :D

So, I FINALLY got Erik back to a place where I was actually doing shit with him and he, despite the shit with Kate, he was actually in a decent mood.
And then Connor struck, and now he is in a worse place than ever.
He's had such a rollercoaster year - while he's never stopped being a douchebag, he was getting better there for awhile. He had his crush on Violet and he was actually befriending random ELE people, and he was slowly warming to having a younger brother. He was actually heading towards being a semi-decent guy, up until the Ellie/Rob and Cole/Janelle stuff started to happen, and since then he's been a downward slope into being... idk, not the same asshole he was before, but I think right now he's heading towards the point where he's worse than what he was then.
Except now he's swearing off girls all together. Except as drinking partners. Sup Vera.
Sarah, I think we may need to rethink what happens in the Amy/Erik log.

I am slowly getting on top of my to-do list - or not really, but the big work stuff that was hanging over my head is done for now, so here I am... wanting more logs? WHATEVER.
Not really. I don't want this to be a HUGE thing, but I would like to do a series of snapshots of Art and his ninja-mistletoe-kisses. I know Angelica, Ali and Kitty are in his sights, and so I'm hoping to do some quick-and-dirty logs to cover this. And anyone else who wants their character jumped by Art is totally welcome.
... though if other people want mistletoe logs as well, I am totally up for it. Terry, Sarah, Manuel and Myles are all up for grabs, if anyone wants them. I probably won't be able to devote a lot of time to them until Sundayish, but feel free to anyway.

So his usual crowd is the BHH ~inner crowd~, and presuming he even shows up in the lunchroom tomorrow, he is most likely going to avoid that table - except his other option is the Sciladies and their men, who a) are all friends with Kate and b) who Trish is sitting with now.
... so he might skip lunch all together, now that he thinks about it. :|

Because really, I don't have 50 BAJILLION OTHER THINGS TO WRITE. Whatever, I was early for work, I can do it.

For no apparent reason, instead of going with shinyandnat like everything else, I went with missboosyboots, a journal I'd had on GJ I used as a plotting journal with Ashley and Jenna. It is, however, pretty apt, because I am a very bossy little miss when I get down to it. I am pretty sure I got called a bossy boots when I was a kid.
2. My name is _____ because ______: the purple kangeroo. Something linesblur referred to me as once a long time ago, and I like it so much it stuck. From the fact I love purple and that I am Australian. DID YOU KNOW PURPLE IS THIS SEASON'S NEW COLOUR? omg, so much purple in the stores right now.
3. My journal is titled ____ because ____: "your ability to be in doubts, mysteries and uncertainties
without any irritable reaching after fact or reason." A quote from Ben Whishaw when he was interviewed about Bright Star. He's talking about negative capability, Keats' theory describing the capacity for accepting uncertainty and the unresolved. I am sort of in love with the idea - I am the exact opposite, I always have to facts and reason. But I think it's beautiful.
4. My default userpic is ____ because ____: Ben Whishaw and Abbie Cornish from Bright Star. To my utter despair, the movie doesn't come out til Boxing Day here, but you can bet your sweet bippy I will be there at the first showing of the day. I had plans to see it with people until ONE OF THEM FLED THE COUNTRY AND THE OTHER REALISED SHE WAS GOING TO BE LEAVING FOR A FOLK FESTIVAL DJAKLJDALKJADL FML but I am going to go see it anyway and maybe again once they're back. Anyway, about the icon. I love it because Ben just looks so peaceful and restful (and why not, I'd be pretty restful if I was lying on Abbie Cornish's bosom, ngl). Also Ben = William, and we all know how much I ♥ him.

Working on steamtrek apps when you are tired and distracted means they are not going as well as hoped. Jocelyn is ALMOST FINISHED, thank Christ, and I will just have to work on Giovanni tomorrow. aaaaaaaaaargh. Why did I leave this to the last minute.
ALSO, I NEED YOUR HELP.
I am rapidly going insane and losing track of everything I'm supposed to do, what I've promised people I'd do, what I need to do. SO. Here is your chance to remind me - AGAIN - if I have promised you something and forgotten about it. If it is not on the to-do list I posted here, then it will not be getting any attention from me. If there is plot I have not mentioned in awhile, stuff I was going to do, whatever, I seriously am losing my mind.
A decent night's sleep would help. Which I will not be getting tonight. FML.
